Chardonnay

It’s our second foray into Chardonnay, and bodes well for the future. Grapes were sourced from the Upper Yarra, 30-year-old lower yielding vines that were handpicked when the fruit displayed beguiling stone fruit characters. They were gently pressed and the wine tank-settled before barrel fermentation in a mix of new (20%) and older French barriques.
